A New Year Has Dawned

From an apartment balcony, we watched as the clock struck 12, signalling the arrival of 2008. I was at Jon's apartment with the rest of the gang (Bak, Jing, Josh, D'eric, Jon and in this rare case, Brian) at his kind invitation for a bbq party.

Jon's sis brought her friends along too. Amongst them were Nikkil, Aaron, Jia Shen etc. Oh, and I got to meet Joyce Bux and her brother, Zach who were also thought by Mrs. Wong. Apparently, Mrs. Wong showed them my pic in the year book and Joyce recognised me first. I tell you, everyone seems to know everyone else!

The fireworks were great. We watched about 10 at the same time (could have been more if not for the pesky apartment in front of us; curses!). Souled Out had a very large and fanciful display (sorry, no pics).

Anyway, do I have resolutions? Maybe. But they're not really for this year alone.

2. Get straight high distinctions.
0. Pick up the cute aussie accent (and a someone. Hopefully. ;) )
0. Avoid crying when the unis reject me.
8. Learn ballroom dancing.

Let's see how these turn out. I usually forget them outright. You know what my memory is like... =D
